The Terrorist Attack in Ankara, Turkey ๐น๐ท That Everyone Forgot
Foreword: This was originally written on Monday October 2, 2023. I’ve been wanting to post this on here for almost a month now. I re-read this thing that I wrote about the October 1st terrorist attack in Ankara (the capital of Turkey ๐น๐ท), last month in September, and I made some edits to it, I added some things to it, and I felt like this would be good to put on the blog. Not just because it’s about Turkey ๐น๐ท AKA Tรผrkiye ๐น๐ท, and I haven’t really posted anything on here that was focused on Turkey ๐น๐ท, Turkey ๐น๐ท’s been mentioned here and there on my blog, especially in the posts that center on the Middle East and center on authoritarianism and democratic backsliding; because whether we like it or not, Turkey ๐น๐ท is a big player in the Middle East, it directly borders the Arabian peninsula and Iran ๐ฎ๐ท, and has involved itself in the affairs of the Arab and Muslim world ☪️, but also because the country has been experiencing democratic backsliding ever since Recep Tayyip Erdoฤan...
