Hi, I'm Jediah Sanchez, but you can call me Jedi if you want. This is where I post all of my writings, or at least, all of the writing I want to post. Some of them are originals specifically for this website, and others are ones I pulled straight from DeviantART, from my journals. I created this site because I wanted to have a place to post what I want without the restrictions or confines of DeviantART. And also expand my audience, to have my work be seen by more people. Here, I express my opinions on things ranging from movies, TV, streaming, video games, politics, vexillology, and culture. So, enjoy.

My Thoughts on “The Fifth Element”

  (This is the poster for The Fifth Element .) I honestly never thought that I would review this movie, but after I mentioned it in my Weekend in Taipei review , I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I had to rewatch it and write a review of it. So, indulge me as I take a trip down memory lane and review this sci-fi action comedy classic. Now, this is a childhood movie of mine, I first saw it at a very young age and I instantly fell in love with it. It was one of my favorite movies growing up, and even after all these years, I still enjoy it, it still holds up. It is easily Luc Besson’s best movie by far, at least of the ones that I’ve seen that he’s directed. It’s better than Lucy , it’s better than Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets , and it’s better than Anna . My Thoughts on "Ruby Gloom"

Note: This was originally written on Thursday January 12, 2023, and was posted on DeviantART on Thursday January 26, 2023. I decided to write this review because I had watched Wednesday , that live action Addams Family spin-off series on Netflix focused on Wednesday Addams, the most popular character in the Addams Family franchise. I probably should've have posted that before this, but I can always repost it later on in the month. It's not really required reading to understand this, but it just helps give context for why I decided to write about this show. Besides, I want to repost my WALL•E review first because I have some things to say about Pixar in the note for that review that I haven't really been able to say since I haven't had any reason or excuse to vent about Pixar.  But anyway, watching Wednesday not only made want to watch more Addams Family related material, but it also made want to watch other gothic movies or shows, particularly gothic cartoons. My Thoughts on "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones"

Foreword: This was originally written on Sunday September 18, 2022, and was posted on DeviantART the next day on Monday September 19, 2022. I saw this review again while I was scrolling through my old journals on DeviantART, and I decided to repost it here since I haven’t really posted any Star Wars related content on this blog. The closest I got to saying anything about Star Wars on this blog were my reviews of Knives Out 🗡️ and Glass Onion 🧅: A Knives Out Mystery 🗡️ , and I only mentioned Star Wars there because the writer and director of those two movies, Rian Johnson directed the second movie in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Star Wars: The Last Jedi .   BTW, the title for the upcoming third Knives Out 🗡️ movie (or Benoit Blanc movie if you prefer) was revealed a few months back.
