Note:   This was originally written on November 8, 2022. I also wrote a little article or journal (whatever you want to call it) about the Lebanese Civil War 🇱🇧, another forgotten or obscure conflict that rarely gets discussed, that I'll post at a later date. The Lebanese Civil War 🇱🇧 really shouldn't be that obscure or forgotten since it was front page news in the 80s. It was in the headlines for most of the decade, and most Americans 🇺🇸 knew about it, or knew of it even if they didn't know the details of why was it happening, and how it was progressing.  I mean, the US Embassy 🇺🇸 in Beirut was attacked, and the US Marine barracks 🇺🇸 (which also housed French service members 🇫🇷) in Beirut was also attacked during the war by terrorists.
