Foreword:  This was originally written on October 5, 2021. Note:    This was originally written on Sunday August 21, 2022 . I don't remember what exactly spurred it on. I guess I was just thinking about this idea of queer coding 🏳️‍🌈 that I heard be talked about in a lot film analysis, especially when it came to Disney villains in movies like Pocahontas , or The Hunchback of Notre-Dame , or rather, the direct-to-DVD sequel 📀, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame II , or The Lion King 🦁 (the original animated version). There's a bunch of others that I mention in the main text itself, but those were the ones I was mostly thinking about when I ultimately decided to write this.  I wanted to give my own opinion on this idea or this term because whenever people bring it up, it's always in a negative way.
