Washington, DC Statehood πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Foreword: This was originally written on Tuesday February 16, 2021. It is now the first of November, Friday November 1, 2024 to be exact, and the Election πŸ—³️ is now 4 days away. I’ve already voted πŸ—³️, it turns out that Acoma had early voting πŸ—³️, so my grandma and I as well as my other grandma and one of my cousins were able to vote early πŸ—³️. I voted for Kamala Harris, which is probably not surprising if you’ve read any of the stuff I’ve written about this election πŸ—³️ so far, or written any of the political stuff I’ve written on here. So, I did my part, now it’s up to the rest of the country to do their part in making sure that Donald Trump does not get back into the White House and wreck even more havoc on this country than he already has in his first term. Particularly those living in the swing states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and North Carolina. Prelude to the 2024 Election

  (This is the flag of the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.) The election is coming up soon, and everyone is holding their breath and crossing their fingers 🀞. I thought I would write this to kind of give you the stakes of this particular election because not every voter or potential voter may fully grasp what's at stake in this stake. At the time of me writing this, which Saturday August 17, 2024, I haven't been following the election as closely as I had before a few months ago. I just got tired of all the political BS. All of the political YouTubers whose job it is to talk about politics, talking about every little thing that happens during this election cycle. It just got overwhelming, and I had to click off of it, and stop watching those channels. But, I feel compelled to write this in the running up to the election.
