My Thoughts on “Tron: Legacy”

Image
(This is the poster for Tron: Legacy .) I was hoping to get this out by the end of May, but depending on long it takes for me to finish it, I may end up having to post it in June. This might end up being my first post for the month instead of my review of Alien vs. Predator (2004). But, I’m going to try, I going to try to get this out before the month of May ends. I’ll try to keep it short like my review of A Working Man ♂︎ or my review of the first Tron . I would’ve posted this a lot of sooner, I would’ve watched this movie and wrote my review much earlier on in the week, but I ended up seeing A Working Man ♂︎ with my grandma, and I had to write a review of that real quick, and had to push this review back. I had to make room for my first new movie of 2025, as in a new release for the year, 2025. So far this year, I’ve just been reviewing older movies but A Working Man ♂︎ was the first 2025 movie I reviewed this year that was actually released this year. And it ended up ...

My Thoughts on “A Working Man ♂︎”

Image
(This is the poster for A Working Man ♂︎ .)       I was starting to think I wasn’t going to see any new movies this year, in 2025, the way it was shaping up. Every time there was a new release, I kept thinking that it was going to pass me by and I was going to have to wait until it was available on streaming or VOD (video-on-demand) because every time there was a movie I was remotely interesting in that came out in theaters, I didn’t have any money 💵 to go. What I was imagining was going to end up happening was what happened with some of the movies from 2024 that I didn’t get to see when they actually came out. Like, I missed Venom: The Last Dance , I didn’t get to see it in theaters when it came out. I wrote a review of that movie if you’re interested in reading it . I had to wait until it was out on Blu-Ray 💿 to finally watch it. The same thing happened with The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare , the World War II spy action comedy thriller from Guy Ritchie, th...

Movies I Want Brandon Tenold to Review

Image
(This is a screenshot from Brandon Tenold’s recent video, which was a review of Killer Crocodile 2 🐊 , which is a sequel to the 1989 Italian horror/adventure film 🇮🇹, Killer Crocodile 🐊 . They were apparently filmed back-to-back, which is why Killer Crocodile 2 🐊 was released one year apart from the first one. Gotta tell ya, Killer Crocodile 2 🐊 sure doesn’t look like a 90s movie at all. It looks like an 80s movie. Probably because it was filmed in the 80s, 1989 to be exact, so it’s still technically an 80s movie even though it was released in the 90s. I guess Patrick Willems was wrong, Days of Thunder ⚡️ was not the “last film of the 80s,” it was actually Killer Crocodile 2 🐊 .)   Well, since I gotta my review of Tron (1982) out of the way, I can finally write about the thing I really wanted to write about this week: movies that I want Brandon Tenold to review. I guess I should probably explain who Brandon Tenold is before I go any further because some of you mi...
