I know that I’m late to the party on this, but better late than never I always say. I wrote a post when Warner Bros. and Legendary unveiled the title for the next MonsterVerse movie, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova and announced that it was officially in production, I wrote a review of The Super Mario Bros. Movie , which this is obviously a sequel to, I included that movie in my New Year’s Eve Recap for 2023 , and I’ve written a few dedicated posts about Mario ever since; including the one I wrote on MAR10 Day 2024 where they officially announced that there was going to be a sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie . So, it’s only fitting that I do a post about the title announcement and the little teaser trailer I guess you could call it that they did back a couple of weeks ago, on Friday September 12, 2025. Yes, the little thing at the bottom says 2019, but it still works for every year, I think.)    I completely forgot that it was MAR10 Day until I saw the video that Nintendo of America 🇺🇸 put out earlier today. I also apparently forgot that it was Daylight Savings Time as well, since I ended up sleeping in a full hour after I usually get up 😴. Needless to say, I was completely unprepared for the time change, or for the annual Mario day. So, happy MAR10 Day everyone.   (This is a map of the United States 🇺🇸 showing all of the states and territories that observe and practice Daylight Savings time. The ones in green are the ones that do have Daylight Savings time, and the ones in red are the ones that don't. Note: I originally wrote this on Sunday December 11, 2022, I posted it to DeviantART on Wednesday April 12, 2023. Yes, I already started writing this review months in advance before the movie came out, I'm weird like that. I didn't write anything about the movie itself, I just wrote the part about Illumination, and how it's one of the least respected animation studios in Hollywood, of the five big ones (Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, DreamWorks, Sony Pictures Animation, and Illumination of course), and how everyone doubts their movies and thinks they're going to suck before they even see them. You'll see that part when you see it, but that was the part that I wrote in advance.  Something I didn't really emphasize in the review of this movie is how much of a surprise it was.
