(This is the teaser poster for Terminator Zero .)     Well, this was pretty unexpected. I know I say that about a lot of upcoming movies that I didn't know were coming out until I saw the trailer, but was really, really, really unexpected. I genuinely did not see this one coming. But, maybe I should have considering the pop culture landscape of today, but I'll get to that. There's a Terminator anime coming out. It's called Terminator Zero , and it's set to release on August 29, 2024, which is actually the same date, as some Terminator fans have pointed out, as Judgment Day, the day that Skynet launched a nuclear war ☢️ against humanity and won, only for a human resistance to emerge some time after. A lot of Terminator fans in the comments really appreciated that little easter egg that they're releasing this anime on the same day as Judgment Day is said to have happened within the Terminator lore. I watched both trailers, and I got say, this anime actually l...

(This is the poster for Mars Express .)    Well, that certainly was something. I've been interested in watching this movie for a couple of months now. I first mentioned it in the foreword of my post on Rick Worley, among other things, and I've mentioned a few of other times in a few other posts since then. BTW, that Rick Worley post is the most popular post on this blog currently because of the times that I went back edited it and added to the foreword up top. But, I finally got my hands on Mars Express last week, and I finally watched it yesterday. What did I think of it? Well, I liked it until you know…it got to the end. Yes, that's right, this yet another movie where I was with it until the very end, where it just ended with a whimper. I oddly had sort of t...

Foreword:  This was originally written and posted on DeviantART on Monday November 22, 2021. Two review in one day, I am on a roll 😁! I figured that since I just bought Mars Express , I would repost my review for Red Planet , to you know, keep up with the theme of Mars-related movies, and to get you hyped for my review of Mars Express . For those that don't know, and I'm sure there are many of you who don't, Red Planet is a 2000 science fiction movie about a group of astronauts who travel to Mars for a manned mission.  The reason why is that Mars was in the early stages of being terraformed since the governments on Earth 🌎 decided to make Mars humanity's new home after ecological degradation left the Earth 🌎 nearly completely uninhabitable. So, they seeded Mars with algae deposits in order to create an atmosphere that humans could breathe in as well create topsoil suitable enough to grow crops 🌾 to feed people, and hopefully turn Mars into a more Earth-like planet ...
