My Thoughts on "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"

Note:  This was originally written on Monday Ja nuary 16, 2023 an d was posted on DeviantA R T the next day on Tuesday Januar y 17, 202 3. I decided to repost this on here because I've been Super Mario 3D World and it's awesome 😁. My cousin brother (as in, he's my cousin, but I call him my brother) really came through by giving it to me as a birthday gift 🎁. I finally started playing it after I gave up on Skull Island: Rise of Kong . I gave that game a chance, I gave it a genuine chance, even after I saw all the bad reviews online. I wanted to be able to finish that game, and be able to say, "That game wasn't all that bad. I actually enjoyed playing it, and I disagree vehemently with all critics on this one." But, no, I wasn't able to say that.  That game was just bad, pretty much as bad as everyone said. The real breaking point for me was when I got through the final level, or final chapter or whatever, and I got the final boss fight of the game again...

The Criterion Release for "WALL•E"

Image
Note:   I originally wrote this on Sunday December 4, 2022, and was originally posted on DeviantART on Monday December 5, 2022. —  (This is the cover art for the Criterion release of WALL•E .)    Guess what I found yesterday while shopping at Best Buy for my birthday 🥳, I found out that WALL•E has a Criterion release. I was completely shocked and surprised, like they actually gave this movie a Criterion release? It makes sense, I mean, it is one of Pixar's best movies. It's certainly not as shocking as if Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius got a Criterion release, now that would really surprising. I mean, I would love it, like I think Jimmy Neutron deserves a Criterion release, but it's not the kind of movie that the Criterion Collection considers as "cinema worth respecting." WALL•E is, which is why it got a Criterion release. I'm almost tempted to buy it because I had a copy of WALL•E on Blu-Ray, but I lost it. I lended it to someone I knew, my dad's ex-gir...

My Thoughts on "WALL•E"

Note:   This was originally written on Thursday December 29, 2022, and was originally posted on DeviantART on Wednesday January 4, 2023. This was the first thing that I posted on DeviantART in 2023, and I intentionally waited for the then New Year to post it for that reason. And also because I wanted to enjoy my Christmas 🎄 and my New Year's Eve 🥳 without having to worry about posting this on DeviantART. And since I've reposted some of the other things I wrote and posted back in the month of January in 2023 this January in 2024, I thought I would also post this as well.  And it definitely works as a post-holidays review for you to read. WALL•E works as a holiday movie and as a summer movie. This is still my favorite Pixar movie even after all this time since rewatching it  and writing this review back in 2022. I alluded this in the note for my Ruby Gloom review , but I've sort of fallen out of love with Pixar. I used to really love Pixar, I loved everything they did, ...

The Alternate Theme for "Ruby Gloom"

Image
Since I didn't have any room to put this in the Ruby Gloom review itself , I thought I would make it its own post here on the blog. This is the supposed alternate theme for Ruby Gloom . The one I shared in the review (both versions) is the official theme that was used in the show itself, while this is the alternate theme that was considered, but wasn't actually used in the show itself. Or at least, that's what everyone says. Similar to the "pilot" that I showed at the end of my review, I really don't know for sure this "alternate theme" is legit or not, or if people are just making stuff up and this is just a fan made song that people are presenting as an official alternate theme. It's hard to tell on the Internet what's true and isn't true, and it's hard to tell what is and isn't true about this show on the Internet because it is so obscure, and so few people actually know about it. And there's so little information about it...
