Foreword:    This was originally written on October 7, 2023. Same day as Hamas’s attack on Israel 🇮🇱, could you believe it? I wrote this on quite an historic day. For the record, I wrote this before I found about the attack, and I found out about it by watching those text-to-speech videos talking about military news and war news. What a way to find out about a historic event such as that. But, I guess it isn’t as bad as learning about the Russian invasion of Ukraine 🇷🇺🇺🇦 through that CNN breaking news report that was interrupted by an Applebee’s commercial 🍎. Don’t believe me? Foreword:  This was originally written on Wednesday September 27, 2023. I'm finally posting the next entry on my series on China and Taiwan 🇨🇳🇹🇼. This one is a bit of a continuation of the conversation that I had started in the previous one, which you can go read here . It talked about the confusing legal status of Taiwan 🇹🇼, how it's not recognized as a legitimate sovereign country by the majority of the international community, and doesn't have a seat in the UN 🇺🇳, because it's official name is the Republic of China, and there can only be one nation state in the China seat, and it's currently occupied by the People's Republic of China 🇨🇳.
