Donald Trump Has Won the 2024 Election ðŸ—ģ️ 😞

(This is the flag of the United States 🇚ðŸ‡ļ.)

Well, the 2024 Election ðŸ—ģ️ is over pretty much and…the worst case scenario has happened: Trump has won 😞. No one on our side, the pro-democracy side, was really expecting this. They thought that Kamala Harris had this in the bag, and that she was going to win this. Momentum seemed to be our side and not theirs. But they were all wrong. We were all wrong. I am pretty disappointed in the result, and I’m pretty disappointed in this country, like, what happened?

Did all you Democrats sit this one out? Did all you progressives, Palestine supporters ðŸ‡ĩðŸ‡ļ, Arab-Americans 🇚ðŸ‡ļ did you sit this one out or vote for Jill Stein? Was swallowing your pride and voting for Harris just too much for you that you just decided to hand the country over to a man ♂︎ who will be a thousand times worse for Gaza, Palestinians ðŸ‡ĩðŸ‡ļ, and Arabs as a whole than Biden ever was? Puerto Ricans ðŸ‡ĩ🇷, why didn’t you turn out to vote ðŸ—ģ️? I thought you upset at that rally in Madison Square Garden, and that Tony Hinchcliffe called your homeland a “floating island of garbage 🗑️🏝️.”

(This is the flag of Puerto Rico ðŸ‡ĩ🇷.)

Was it just that Hinchcliffe was the one who said it and not Trump? Did you believe Trump and his campaign’s lies that they didn’t know Hinchcliffe was going to say that and they “love” Puerto Ricans ðŸ‡ĩ🇷? Latinos as a whole, what made you decide to vote for a man ♂︎ who we all know hates your guts and wants nothing more than to deport you? Black men ♂︎ you too, what made you decide to vote for an avowed white supremacist? A man ♂︎ who has discriminated against black people in the past, uses white supremacist and white nationalist rhetoric, and emboldens other white supremacists and white nationalist to act a fool and do all sorts of bad things against black people, including engaging in violence and other criminal activities.

As for the other people who either sat this one or voted for Trump ðŸ—ģ️, are you really that against having a woman ♀︎ as president that you’d vote for this nincompoop AGAIN?! Were you not paying attention to anything he was saying or doing? Did all the criminal convictions and felonies not matter to you? Did all it take was for him being out of office for four years for you to just forget how bad his first term was and go, “Well, maybe he’ll be a good pick?” Were you all that against paying a little bit extra for groceries?

You all realize that once he gets in inflation will get worse right? Like, if you think inflation’s bad now, wait until he’s in office and he imposes those 90% tariffs on all goods coming into the country, and he puts Elon Musk, the failed CEO of Tesla and the social media website formerly known as Twitter ðŸĶ, in charge of taxes and regulations. We’ll have an economic recession just as bad, if not worse than the 2008 Global Recession. We might even have a Second Great Depression with the amount of disastrous economic policies that Trump has promised to implement.

All sorts of bad things can happen to this country and to the world now that Trump has been elected president once again. Obviously, we could see at least a partial implementation of Project 2025, which would mean a national abortion ban, a national porn ban 🔞, cutting Social Security and Medicare, mass deportations, minorities being rounded up into concentration silencing of all political dissent, the termination of the constitution, and the final transformation of the US 🇚ðŸ‡ļ into a fascist dictatorship. Not just a fascist dictatorship, but a fascist kleptocracy. The US 🇚ðŸ‡ļ is now on the path to becoming the next Russia 🇷🇚.

(This is the flag of Russia 🇷🇚.)

Speaking of Russia 🇷🇚, Putin and all of the dictators who were watching this election ðŸ—ģ️ closely are happy 😈 because they got they wanted. They got a weak leader who they can take advantage of, and who will give them everything they want. Putin’s whole strategy to winning the Ukraine War 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ was pretty much hoping that Donald Trump would win and then force Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ to surrender and give up its territory to Russia 🇷🇚, because all of his attempts to win the war militarily have failed.

(This is the flag of Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ.)

Now, he got what he wanted, and now Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ’s chances of winning have decreased. Things will be much tougher for Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ going forward because Trump will definitely pull all funding and military aid to Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ. The fact that he will have a Republican majority Senate will help him accomplish that. But, the Ukrainians 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ will still probably continue fighting regardless. Short of Trump forcing them into a settlement with Russia 🇷🇚, the Ukrainians 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ will keep fighting as long as they can, for as long as they have enough men and equipment to do so. Especially if the Europeans 🇊🇚 to get off their asses and take more of responsibility of supporting Ukraine 🇚ðŸ‡Ķ. Their lives, their country, and their identity depends on it.

(This is the flag of the European Union 🇊🇚.)

The Europeans 🇊🇚 can’t just sit by and hope the US 🇚ðŸ‡ļ will do it all for them anymore because it won’t, not as long as Trump is in office. This of course increases the chances of Trump pulling the US 🇚ðŸ‡ļ out of NATO, something that he tried to do in his first term but failed because of the so-called “adults in the room.” There will be no adults in the room this time around, it will just be Trump loyalists through and through. But maybe he won’t pull out of NATO, maybe he’ll just shift the alliance into a more transactional arrangement, which will make things tougher for the Europeans 🇊🇚 and will force them to pull their own weight as far as defense is concerned.

(This is the flag of China ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡ģ.)

The chances of China ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡ģ invading Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞 have also increased because there is no guarantee that Trump would come to Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞’s aid in the event of a Chinese invasion ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡ģ. He has alluded to the idea that he would not come to Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞’s aid if China ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡ģ decided to invade it. And he admires Xi Jinping just as much as he admires Putin and Kim Jong-un, so there’s no way he’s going to stand in his way if he decides to take Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞.

(This is the flag of Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞.)

I would like to hope he wouldn’t just abandon Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞 and leave it to its fate, but this is Trump we’re talking about here, loyalty and honor aren’t in his vocabulary and he’ll betray anyone to get what he wants. But, we don’t know. It’s too early to say what he’ll do with Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞, if he’ll let Xi have his way or if he’ll stick to the anti-China position ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡ģ he claimed to have on the campaign trail, in 2016, 2020, and 2024. If he does help Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞, he’ll only do it if he feels like it at the moment and if he thinks it will benefit him and his cronies. Trump only does things that benefit Trump. If he doesn’t think it will benefit him, then he won’t help at all, and Taiwan ðŸ‡đ🇞 will be screwed.

(These are the flags of Israel ðŸ‡ŪðŸ‡ą, Palestine ðŸ‡ĩðŸ‡ļ, Lebanon ðŸ‡ąðŸ‡§, and Iran ðŸ‡Ū🇷.)

The situation in Gaza and the Middle East as a whole will get worse under a second Trump presidency, Iran ðŸ‡Ū🇷 will either be emboldened, or will become agitated and become even more aggressive and ramp up its attacks on Israel ðŸ‡ŪðŸ‡ą and the US 🇚ðŸ‡ļ as well as attacks on other US allies 🇚ðŸ‡ļ in the region like Saudi Arabia ðŸ‡ļðŸ‡Ķ for instance. They might even be pushed to get nuclear weapons ☢️. Israel ðŸ‡ŪðŸ‡ą itself will be emboldened because there will be nothing to stop them achieving their goals in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon ðŸ‡ąðŸ‡§, and they will likely try to annex the West Bank.

(This is the flag of North Korea 🇰ðŸ‡ĩ.)

Of course, North Korea 🇰ðŸ‡ĩ will have free reign to do whatever it wants to do, and both South Korea 🇰🇷 and Japan ðŸ‡ŊðŸ‡ĩ will much more vulnerable now especially if Trump withdraws any troops from those places. Oh, and the chances of an invasion of Mexico ðŸ‡ēðŸ‡― have also increased because Project 2025 talks about the idea of invading Mexico ðŸ‡ēðŸ‡― as a way of dealing with the immigration problem or drug problem or whatever dumbass reason they want to invade Mexico ðŸ‡ēðŸ‡― for. It’s a bad idea either way and it won’t be pretty. That can pretty much be said for all of Trump’s second presidency. It’s going to get ugly. We don’t exactly what will happen but we know for sure it won’t be any good, and it’ll set this country back decades.

(This is the flag of Mexico ðŸ‡ēðŸ‡―.)

Speaking of wars, the likelihood of a Second American Civil War 🇚ðŸ‡ļ in my opinion have gone up now that Trump has been elected ðŸ—ģ️, like the country will become even more polarized and even more chaotic, especially if he implements any of the disastrous policies he has promised to implement, and there will be a rebellion against him if he does become the dictator that we’re all predicting he will become.

We could also see a military coup happen for the first time in American history 🇚ðŸ‡ļ, if the military decides not to follow any of Trump’s orders and they decide to remove him from power by force. That wouldn’t be good for the country either because it could risk a military dictatorship in our country. But hopefully, if our military decides to do a coup against Trump, they’ll take more of a Charles de Gaulle approach and restore the republic, restore democracy instead of holding onto power for themselves.

I just, I wish I could be bringing you good news today, I wish I could tell you that this was all a bad dream 💭 and the actual results were different but I can’t. I was still holding out hope that Harris could still win because Pennsylvania hadn’t been called yet. But, once Trump won Pennsylvania, Harris’s chances of winning the election ðŸ—ģ️ had pretty much diminished into nothingness. Everyone was saying that she needed to win Pennsylvania, if she didn’t win Pennsylvania then it was all over for her, she would have no chance of winning after that. Well, once Pennsylvania was called for Trump, I knew it was all over. She lost 😞. She didn’t just lose, we all lost 😞 last night.

Yesterday was a sad day for America 🇚ðŸ‡ļ and for democracy around the world. The world’s leading democracy, the world’s most powerful country has fallen to authoritarianism. Our country will never be the same after this, once Trump’s back in the White House once again. Just think what everyone else around the world is going to think of us now? The rest of the world that isn’t authoritarian and isn’t hostile now has pretty much lost faith in us, lost faith that we would reject fascism, that we would reject authoritarianism, and that we would choose freedom and the rule of law. They now see us as Idiocracy made real. And honestly, I don’t entirely blame them. I’m ashamed in half the country right now that they re-elected this incompetent buffoon, this convicted felon, this rapist. It’s always sad when evil 😈 wins 😞.

(This is the flag of New Mexico.)

At least I can take solace in the fact that I’m on the right side of history and I voted for Kamala Harris. At least my state, New Mexico voted for Harris. We tried, we gave it our all, but it just wasn’t enough, Trump was simply too powerful. Things that would’ve tanked any other campaign, things that normally would disqualify any other candidate didn’t hurt Trump at all. The Madison Square Garden rally had no effect whatsoever. It didn’t shift the outcome of the election ðŸ—ģ️ in our favor. I mean, if January 6 wasn’t enough to completely crater Trump’s political career, then pretty much nothing will. He will be in our politics until he’s dead 💀 and in the ground.

(This is a picture of me after I voted early on Tuesday October 29, 2024. I’m wearing a vote pin and a “I voted ðŸ—ģ️” sticker, both of which have the American flag 🇚ðŸ‡ļ. You can see how optimistic I was, I was all smiling 🙂 and everything. I didn’t completely rule out that Trump could win, but Harris seemed to be on track to win because of all of the polls were positive and leaning more in her direction, the enthusiasm for her was strong, and because of what happened at Madison Square Garden and backlash against that, and all the stupid stuff Trump was doing in the days before the election ðŸ—ģ️. But of course, I was wrong in the end, and Trump won much to my and many others’ chagrin 😒.

All we can hope now is that he won’t keep all campaign promises and that he’ll be too lazy, incompetent, and old to really do the maximum damage he could do if he were more energized, if he were more motivated, if he weren’t as narcissistic, and if he were younger. Trump is an old man ♂︎, he’s in late 70s and he’ll be the oldest president in American history 🇚ðŸ‡ļ by the time he finishes his term, if he doesn’t try to hold onto power, cancel elections, or run for a third term.

And there is a clear mental and physical decline with him, he is much slower and less coherent now than he was even back in 2020. 2016 Donald Trump and 2024 Donald Trump are pretty much night and day, like it’s crazy how much he’s declined cognitively since then, and how less coherent he is. You can definitely see the age with him, and I’m sure we’ll see even more of his age as his second term moves along and progresses.

He maybe kept hidden away from the public, he maybe locked in a basement so to speak, and make less and less public appearances in the final year, in the final months of his second term. He’ll be everything Republicans accused Biden of being, only this time, they’ll make excuses for Trump saying that he’s not too old. Even though, they said their biggest problem with Biden was that he was too old to be president. They said that he was an old grandpa who belonged in a retirement home and not the Oval Office.

And yet, they won’t say a darn thing about Trump when his age really starts getting the better of him, and he really starts slowing down and when he becomes even more incoherent than he is now. I guess next time I can buy too much into the polls or buy into the hype of a candidate, and all the celebrity endorsements they have, and the crowd sizes at their rallies.

Trump ran a pretty terrible campaign, one of the worst presidential campaigns in American history 🇚ðŸ‡ļ and he still won. The American people 🇚ðŸ‡ļ rewarded failure in this election ðŸ—ģ️ 😒. Also, my hair had grown pretty long since the last I took a selfie ðŸĪģ of myself, and I had just gotten out of bed and I didn’t feel like combing my hair, which is why my hair looks like that in this picture.)

I’m sure that people on our side, Democrats, Republicans against Trump, and Independents will say in the coming days will say that we should’ve ran a different candidate, that Gavin Newsom should have run or that Biden should stayed in the race. But honestly, after seeing the results, I don’t think any Democratic candidate we put against Trump would’ve won. They just couldn’t appeal to white uneducated people. They were too progressive for them I guess. Does this mean Democrats will move even more to the center than they already have because Harris was trying to move her platform more to the center in order to appeal to a wide range of voters? I don’t know.

If they took away anything from this election ðŸ—ģ️, it’s to drop immigration as an issue entirely. Immigration is not a winning issue for Democrats, and they kind of just need to give it up at this point. If they really learned the right lessons (which I’m not sure if they will), then they’ll know to appeal more  to non-unionized workers. Because Harris’s campaign just appealed to union workers believing that was all they had to do as far as the working class vote was concerned. But, it wasn’t. And focus more on the economy, economy, whether we like it or not, was the #1 issue for voters ðŸ—ģ️, and if Democrats ever want to win the presidency ever again they’ll have to adopt a more populist message when it comes to the economy. They need to go full class warfare on this bitch.

Harris didn’t focus enough on the economy. She and her campaign thought that she could just win based on the abortion issue, the democracy issue, and the immigration issue. And to be fair and transparent, I thought so too. But as we see, she couldn’t. She needed a more robust message about the economy and a populist appeal to actually make it better. If she had talked even just a little bit more about the economy, paying more lip service to it, then she might’ve had a better chance of winning.

Democrats from here on out will need to learn this lesson next presidential election ðŸ—ģ️ if there even is another election ðŸ—ģ️. Hopefully there is ðŸĪž, and we’ll finally be able to put this all behind us in the next four years. Trump will be far too old to run again in 2028, he’ll be in his 80s. But given how narcissistic and power hungry he is, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran again anyway despite his age. You Republicans will look like hypocrites if you try to argue next time that he isn’t too old to be president.

It’s just astonishing that so many people in this country voted against their own interests, and voted to make the country a worse place. Our economy was the envy of the world, and now it will gone once Trump’s back in office. It’s worse this time because people can fain ignorance. They can’t say there’s an unknown, and we don’t know how Trump will lead, we know who Trump is, and we know how he’ll “lead” this country. We knew exactly what we would be getting, and yet millions of people still voted for him anyway ðŸĪŠ. I’m sure Harris will concede the election ðŸ—ģ️, accept defeat, and her and Biden will certify the results and do all the things for Trump and Vance coming in that Trump never did for Biden and Harris.

All I can say now is enjoy our democracy while it lasts because by next year, it will all be gone. Everything that we take for granted now will be undone. I don’t even know how long my blog will remain up, if it would get taken down because it talked bad about the dear leader. It’s going to be a complete different world, and not a very pretty one or fun one. It’s either going to be World War III or a Second American Civil War 🇚ðŸ‡ļ one of those two.

We just have to carry on the best we can. That’s all we can do. Not all of us have the luxury of moving to another country or already living in another country, we have to remain here and face whatever consequences come of Trump’s second presidency. If you’re contemplating suicide because of this result, I would say, don’t. You still have a lot to live for, and you cannot just give up and off yourself all because of one result. We honestly don’t entirely know what will come in the next four years, but you must go on. Not just for yourself, but the ones around you, the ones you love and care about and who love and care about you.
